This presentation will provide an overview of the current practices of autonomous track inspection used in North America. Included in the presentation will be summaries of the types of track conditions inspected autonomously, types of vehicles used, and common operational practices. Additionally, the presentation will discuss trends and future needs associated to autonomous track inspection.
