Biography: Dominique Sirois is Principal Railroad Engineer at Rio Tinto, QNS&L Railway. He has been with the Iron Ore Company of Canada since 2001. He started his railway career with the Quebec North Shore and Labrador Railway team (QNS&L) as maintenance of way team leader and planner. As engineer for track maintenance and infrastructure, he also has responsibility for the geotechnical risk management program along the railway. Dominique also works with Wayside Train Monitoring Systems and on reliability in the locomotive maintenance program.

He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of École de technologie supérieure, Canada.
