Biography: Raphael Marotta is a Track Specialist at MRS Logística in Juiz de Fora. He is responsible along with the Track Engineering Department team for the support of the track geometry car operations, track quality analysis, derailment analysis and reliability analysis. Raphael has worked at MRS Logistica over the last 6 years and spent the last 4 at the Track Engineering Department specializing in issues related to track modelling used in dynamic simulations. Currently Raphael Marotta is working in train speed increase projects in partnership with the Rolling Stock Engineering Department and developing track degradation models for MRS Logística.
