Chief Engineer – Rail Grinders, Mainline and Specialty
Responsible for developmental machine and performance specifications of mainline and specialty rail grinding platforms for Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. Primary internal customer contact for machine issues for these rail grinders. Work with Loram Rail Quality Chief Engineer on wheel-rail interaction, ground rail surface finish, and machine requirements. Responsible for leading the Loram grind stone development efforts. Member of AREMA, American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association Committees 4 and 12. Member of SAE, Society of Automotive Engineers.

Worked as lead mechanical design engineer and later as the project manager for the rail grinder machine upgrades.

Project Engineer on Municipal Sludge Pumping and Storage applications. Designed Silos and Hydraulic power units to operate Silo floor sliding frame, Silo extraction screw conveyors, and Sludge pumps.

Led 40 to 1500kW Generator Set projects through concept, design, testing, production, and maintenance.

Case International Harvester Engineering, Burridge, IL
Test & Design Engineer, Powertrain & Cotton Pickers.
Designed, installed, and oversaw tractor and skid steer powertrain endurance tests. Designed sheetmetal components, chassis structures, and chain drives. Field test duties included daily reports, design development, and machine maintenance.
