Biography: Kevin Conn is a Research Engineer with the Research and Tests Department for Norfolk Southern, a position he has held for the past 21 years. He is involved in the research, testing and implementation of lubrication and friction management systems along with other aspects of the wheel/rail interface. He joined the Norfolk Southern after 12 years as an analytical chemist. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Illinois and is member of AREMA Committee 4.
