Biography: Daniel Baker is a Track Safety Specialist within the Track and Structures Division of the Office of Railroad Safety at the Federal Railroad Administration. He is a subject matter expert on railroad track safety standards and maintenance. Before joining the FRA, Daniel worked as a track inspector for WMATA in Washington, DC, and a division roadmaster in Seattle, Washington for BNSF Railway.
Daniel holds a BS in civil engineering from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina.
